Organic Watercress

There is nothing as beautiful as a bunch of fresh organic watercress like the one we found at a farmer’s market the other day. We had guests over the weekend, so we used some fresh organic watercress as a centerpiece for brunch on Saturday, made salad for lunch on Sunday and saved some leaves for some tea sandwiches which we served later on that afternoon.  The vibrant, fresh, crisp, green color of this bunch is nature’s work of art that deserves to be shown in a variety of photos to appreciate its beauty. After we used it as a centerpiece, we cut off a large portion of the stems which we used in our smoothies. The leaves were used for the salads and sandwiches. It’s amazing how you can you use this one bunch of organic watercress in a variety of ways!

The salad we made contained some of our organic alfalfa sprouts we sprouted – click here to learn how to sprout: Alfalfa Sprouts How To

Take a look at these amazing photos of this lovely bunch of organic watercress!
